Do you drop ship?
Absolutely not. None of our products are drop shipped.
Every item is manufactured at our dedicated facility and shipped to our Chicago-based warehouse, where it undergoes a full inspection and quality control process before being delivered to you.
We also offer a selection of custom designs created in-house that are exclusive to Insignist Motorsports — ensuring you're not just getting generic parts passed from one supplier to another.
Is your carbon fiber real or hydro-dipped?
All of our products are made from genuine carbon fiber, not hydro-dipped or vinyl wrapped.
We source high-quality materials for each piece, and every product is constructed using industry-standard methods including dry carbon for specific high-performance applications. No corners are cut. No filler materials.
What’s the difference between dry carbon and regular carbon fiber? Why is dry carbon more expensive?
Dry carbon fiber is lighter, stronger, and significantly more expensive to produce than wet (gloss) carbon.
While wet carbon is layered with resin and cured with a gel coat for aesthetics, dry carbon is cured under vacuum pressure in an autoclave — the same process used for Formula 1, aerospace, and race-spec builds.
This makes it the premium choice for anyone who prioritizes performance, weight savings, and structural integrity.
Is everything on your site in stock?
All of our products are always available to order, a lot are in stock and others are crafted to order, entering production shortly after your purchase. This is because as a growing business, we’re constantly balancing warehouse space and customer demand, so some orders may take a little longer to fulfill.
That said, we also maintain an In-Stock & Ready-to-Ship section, clearly displayed on our homepage and in the top navigation menu. You can filter by your BMW model and instantly view parts that are ready to ship from Chicago. We're also growing this inventory everyday as well as storage capacity.
We’re very transparent with our customers, and you can always check your order status by emailing insignist.com@gmail.com or filling out the contact form on the Contact Us page. We typically respond within 24-48.
Is shipping quick?
Yes! We want you to have your item as soon as possible. Therefore, we have made it easy for you to browse for items you may get quicker especially if it's in our Chicago warehouse.
On the top section of website, there is a marked “In Stock – Ready to Ship,” option under which ever item that is listed usually ships out within 1-3 business days.
If it's crafted to order, it enters our tracked production queue and ships when ready. You can always request updates as your order progresses.
Do you Ship to Norway?
Yes! We are a VOEC-registered seller, which means Norwegian customers pay 25% VAT at checkout and avoid surprise fees on delivery.
👉 Please note: VOEC applies only to items priced under 3,000 NOK per unit (excluding shipping). Our checkout system currently collects VAT on all items, even those above this threshold. If your order includes a product over 3,000 NOK, we will fully refund the VAT within 24–48 hours to comply with Norwegian regulations. This ensures you only pay what’s required and keeps the process seamless for you.
We know this is a small extra step, and we truly appreciate your understanding. It’s part of our commitment to transparency and making your experience as smooth as possible.
