Absolutely not. None of our products are drop shipped. Every part is produced to our specification at our dedicated manufacturing partner's facility, then shipped to our Chicago-area warehouse, where it goes through a full inspection and quality control process before it's delivered to you. Nothing is forwarded straight from a supplier. We also carry select designs developed to our spec and exclusive to Insignist Motorsports, so you're not just getting generic parts passed from one seller to the next.

Is your carbon fiber real or hydro-dipped?

All of our products are made from genuine carbon fiber, not hydro-dipped or vinyl wrapped. We source high-quality materials for each piece, and every product is constructed using industry-standard methods including dry carbon for specific high-performance applications. No corners are cut. No filler materials.

What's the difference between dry carbon and regular carbon fiber? Why is dry carbon more expensive?

Dry carbon fiber is lighter, stronger, and significantly more expensive to produce than wet (gloss) carbon. While wet carbon is layered with resin and cured with a gel coat for aesthetics, dry carbon is cured under vacuum pressure in an autoclave, the same process used for Formula 1, aerospace, and race-spec builds. This makes it the premium choice for anyone who prioritizes performance, weight savings, and structural integrity.

Is everything on your site in stock?

All of our products are always available to order. Many are in stock and others are crafted to order, entering production shortly after your purchase. As a growing business we balance warehouse space and customer demand, so some orders may take a little longer to fulfill. We maintain an In-Stock and Ready-to-Ship section, displayed on our homepage and in the top navigation menu, where you can view parts that are ready to ship from Chicago. You can always check your order status by emailing support@insignist.com or using the Contact Us page. We typically respond within 24 to 48 hours.

Yes. Items listed under In Stock, Ready to Ship usually ship from our Chicago-area warehouse within 1 to 3 business days. If a part is crafted to order, it enters our tracked production queue and typically ships within 4 to 7 weeks. You can always request updates as your order progresses.

How long does a crafted-to-order part take?

In-stock items ship from our Chicago-area warehouse within 1 to 3 business days. Crafted-to-order items enter production within 48 hours of your order and typically arrive in 4 to 7 weeks. Do you ship to Norway?

Insignist Motorsports Shipping Policy

Processing Times
We offer two fulfillment types depending on the product:

In-Stock Items: Products marked “In Stock, Ships from Chicago” are shipped from our warehouse in Elk Grove Village, IL within 1 to 3 business days of order confirmation.
Crafted-to-Order Items: Products marked “Crafted to Order” enter our production queue within 48 hours of order confirmation. Typical delivery is 4 to 7 weeks. Occasionally a long production queue, carrier delays, or customs processing can add time. You will receive updates throughout the process and a tracking number once your order ships.

Shipping Carriers
We ship via major carriers including USPS, UPS, and FedEx depending on package size and destination. Tracking information is provided via email for all orders.

Domestic Shipping (United States)
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and destination. Once an order is transferred to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to the customer.

International Shipping
We ship internationally on a case-by-case basis. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, international customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees charged by their country.

Norway: Norwegian customers shop in NOK, and Norwegian VAT and any import duties are calculated and included at checkout. There is nothing extra to pay on delivery.
